Many people, including me, work hours upon hours to secure backlinks for their website. Most of us only build hundreds of page rank 0 backlinks and very few page rank 2+ backlinks. Articles are an amazing way to get backlinks, in my own experience I have had great success with this method. Case in point, I have recently begun working for a client based in the construction field, I wrote 4 articles related to this field and then put them up on Ezine Articles. About a month or so later those articles are now page rank 4,3,3,2. Ezine articles allows 3 self serving links to your webpage in your articles. That is 3 page rank 4 backlinks, 6 page rank 3 backlinks, and 3 page rank 2 backlinks! Not to mention Google will see these as authority links because of the content found in the article. It would cost a lot of money to buy those kind off links that will last for a long time.
